During the late 1700s, longcase Mora clocks were produced as supplemental income for farm families in Sweden. Having a clock of this make and stature represented high style and taste.
Clock on a curve. This Gustavian Case Clock was inspired by a Swedish Country Grandmother clock and features hand-carved details and a hand-applied antiqued finish. The two pencil-reeded lower doors are centered in a curvy outer silhouette and open to reveal storage space ā a handy catch-all for a foyer or entryway.
