My husband and I took our hand-me-down beige fridge and gave it a new lease on life with $9 chalkboard paint. The sideboard is a chest of drawers we picked up at a thrift store for $25.

14. Kitchen + a little paint = chalkboard fridge. If you have a bit of chalkboard paint left over from another project, I love the idea of using it to cover a boring fridge for an instant message board.
