A pedestal sink means lack of storage. Solution? A linen cabinet! We bought a TV armoir at a thrift store for $100, cut out the center of the doors and added glass. We added crown molding similar to our wainscoting on the top and gave it a few coats of paint.
Keep Smiling Home We actually bought it at a DAV thrift store. It was a TV cabinet and we re-painted it, added glass to the doors and took a few inches off the back so it would fit in the space better. You can read all about it here: http://keepsmilinghome.blogspot.com/2012/03/tv-cabinet-to-linen-cabinet.html
The scrappy DIYer initially repainted this TV cabinet a deep forest green with light blue shelving and backs; she quickly changed her mind when she saw that the dark color just didn't work with the rest of the bathroom's neutral theme.
