The control joints on the front elevation of this house reinforce the difference between the small windows and the larger ones to the right. The joints create a sort of abstract composition on the wall.

Shape- This home is composed of several straight lines, almost too many. It may be simple and geometrical but it's also boring. From the windows, to the doors, the roof, stairs, walkway, and even the tile that covers the outside, there are not enough shapes.
