Media Decor this is a rubbed finish. faux painters excel at this type of finish.

Valerie Schlake Was interested in more detail. What color first and how many layers, special additives, waxes, glues? Not to worry, I'm not a faux finisher or professional-just admire the look you achieved. I'm a dumpster diver at heart and would love to compliment your finish on a few things around my home. Pretty please - would love the recipe.
