Originally a George Nelson vanity designed in 1946 and produced by Herman Miller, we removed the legs and repurposed this unique piece to create a stunning wall hung bar with an backlit glass counter surface. The interior of the vanity had the mirror removed, a shelf added, and is finished in high-gloss white lacquer. The original brown leather on the exterior of the doors was replaced with new "Metallic Dream Cow" leather in color Winter Sky, from Edelman Leather. The Nelson pulls were restored to the original polished chrome finish and a new frosted glass panel was back lighted with a T1 fluorescent tube, for an elegant work surface.
