what is the name of the island counter top? Is it super white granite? I appreciate your help. - I'm doing a kitchen facelift and have honey colored cherry cabinets. I love marble but can't live with it's issues. Do you think the honey cherry cabinets will go well with super white granite, stainless steel appliances and gray mother of pearl backsplash? I have wood floors stained a medium brown. Thank you so much for your help..... »
Erdreich Architecture, P.C. While we designed their layout and detailing, I'm afraid the interior designer handled the actual finish of the cabinets so I can't tell you about the finish, except it was fairly labor-intensive. The wood itself was White Maple. Thanks.
Texas Lightsmith Like many others on this site I am unsure of the original manufacturer of this copper range hood, but you can certainly get one like this from Texas Lightsmith ;) http://www.texaslightsmith.com/www/range-hoods.php

Worn corners and edges. Creamy painted cabinets with a cocoa glaze look like they have been around for decades, thanks to the worn edges on the corners and edges. This look would be suitable for any traditional kitchen where a warm and casual style is desired.
Perhaps you want your newly renovated kitchen to blend with your older home, or maybe that antiqued feel is your favorite. Either way, distressing your cabinets is a perfect way to achieve a worn-in look effectively and efficiently.More:Add Character to Your Home With the Look of AgeDefining a Look: European Eclectic CabinetsThe Unmatched Kitchen: Mixing Finishes With Style
Because aged metal and distressed wood are natural elements, their beauty is always unique. Full of texture and color, these two will set any space aflame with character. The addition of a single copper presence in this largely wooden kitchen, for example, results in a powerful statement.
Curious about color but worried about the maintenance? A distressed finish can cover all the bases, offering a warm, bright look that can actually embrace wear and tear. Get the guide: Stress Less With Distressed Cabinets
