qtprincess85 Shabby Nest.....I notice you offer your paint thoughts on many images on this site. PLEASE STOP. It is misleading to those that are seeking the actual paint color in the pictures. I looked up your honeybell suggestion and it is nothing like the one in this picture. Your info is always incorrect....people don't want similar, they want the actual color. I took the time to contact the official designer of this office and it is actually called "Funky Fruit" by Benjamin Moore. So unless you are willing to do the same and provide the actual color, my suggestion is to keep it to yourself. Please & thank you. And also, thank you to the designer Amanda with MANDARINA STUDIO for telling me this lovely color she used.
Let's get warmed up to the idea of repurposing the dining room by removing the table setting and all but one chair. Now you have the home office you've been wanting. Use a couple of drawers in the adjacent buffet for file storage. Return chairs to table when company arrives. Easy. Done.
De-clutter. Start things off on the right foot by removing everything that you don't use. Throw away things you haven’t touched in a year, and file away important papers or items sitting in piles throughout your space. You will be able to tackle your workload much more efficiently in a clean office.
arrange furniture like this with windows on side and desk in middle of room possibly with bookcase on wall behind chair. could then put two other more comfortable chairs facing desk
