Transforming Rooms Reply hosmith: As long as you find a tile that does not have peach or pink undertones you'll be fine, just be sure to hold the tile outside in good lighting (as fluorescent lights can be misleading). That tile was a mocha & ivory tile that which is discontinued.

some questions bout price and height please - need the height of the surrounds and would like price list
because we have moved our tv on chimney breast i would like a nice surround but lower than normal with artificial fire or ideas for something else thanks »
Transforming Rooms Reply to the question - height of surround? This one is about 5'8" tall, which was good for a two story room, if your ceilings are low, you could have a shorter mantle. As for the pricing, this was a new construction project, it was not added later.
Transforming Rooms You could try Sherwin Williams Steady Brown or Tea Chest, but I do recommend reducing the strength. Notice this client had HUGE windows, therefore lots of light. You don't want to just go down a step on the card, (there are 7 paints on each fan card), because that would change the formula.
If you have additional questions, we do email & phone consultations by appt, I could send you our fees and services sheet. Just contact us on our web site,
Transforming Rooms Hi Lisa, I used Duron Steady Brown SW6110 in 75% strength.
However - if you like this look, I recommend you start with your fabrics and rug first, then select whatever chocolate or praline color works best with those. There are millions of paint colors, very few fabrics and rugs that would fit your needs for size/pattern scale/durability/color combination etc.
