Dining room with yellow, camel and soft tones

We added a french door to the back wall, to make this dark room feel more open, and gave the homeowner better access to the built in cooktop on the patio. For before photos, check out our web site

The butter yellow silk drapes with a contrast band at the bottom really framed the new french door, and made the window seem much larger. The dining furniture is actually very comfortable for dining in leisure. The contemprary art (above the console) adds a punch of color, without the need for busy fabrics or rugs. The tone on tone simple color scheme creates a soothing atmosphere, which is nice to come home to after a hectic work day.
