Please, please, since no one seems to be able to post the actual source of these stools, can anyone, at least provide dimensions that my carpenter can use as a starting point to create similar ones? I'd be happy to buy originals, but I've searched & searched... »
Sheila Schmitz I'd suggest finding a width that feels comfortable for you, and have your carpenter recreate this look to whatever scale you come up with. Photos can be deceptive because the background and lens can affect the apparent size of details in the shot. If you get the look you are after, and the stools fit you and your space, that's a win, yes?
The artwork in this photo is amazing! I would love to have it in my own home. Does anyone know who the artist is or where to buy this piece? Thanks in advance. »
Sitting two low stools side by side in front of a fireplace makes a great spot to enjoy the heat and doesn't block the view. Great style with the wood wrapping all the way up the sides and a little above. Come to think of it, those raised sides are a great safety feature. They would keep me from sliding off sideways after that second glass of wine!
