This shower floor is part of a travertine and Honey onyx bathroom we did. We use custom designed drains on all of our shower floors. The basket weave pattern onyx on the shower floor was accented with two horizontal stripes on the walls.

Where did you get this drain cover. I covet this drain cover »
Blackbird Construction, Inc. The Walls and the Floor border are Classic Beige Travertine and the inset is a basket weave onyx mosaic. I use and impregnating sealer like Miracle 511 on all porous stones. If you seal well, cleaning is easy. The main trick is to squeegy the shower and wipe up residual water after every shower...and I mean EVERY shower. This is the trick. Believe or not, that shower floor is 2 years old and looks exactly the same. You don't want ponding water on your floor because this leaves mineral deposits and soap scum. Hope this helps:)
Here is a warm-tone basketweave mosaic in honey onyx with black dots. The small pieces and the many grout lines provide traction underfoot, making it perfect for a shower floor. It is shown with a light travertine tile.
