Wade Design & Construction Inc The cabinets in the picture are made of American Cherry, stained Sherwin Williams Woodscapes "Natural", and have 2 coats of a clear SW water-born polyurethane. Makes for a very nice, warm glow, and the color intensifies as they age.
Wade Design & Construction Inc These tiles are an ivory-colored, crackle finish 3x6. I am not sure of the brand, but we purchased them through 21st Century Tile in Butler, WI. Let me know if you would like contact info.

larmistead My tile floor in kitchen is off white. I am considering medium tone stained cherry cabinets. Do you recommend sticking with a granite color that is similar to floor color? Thanks.
Wade Design & Construction Inc I think the most important thing with granite is to pick a stone you love. An extension of that thought is that the colors in the stone would co-ordinate with the colors elsewhere in your scheme. It is my thought that with a floor that is off-white, the granite should be a selection that includes an off-white, along with darker colors and some "movement" (pattern or flow) in the stone that will allow it to take center stage in your kitchen. It should be dramatic!
