Habachy Designs Thank you for the nice complement. The tiles are actually porcelain. They came in a range of sizes and patterns which allowed for us to do a pattern on the floor, and coordinating mosaic on the walls. Unfortunately, I do not remember the manufacturer.
Hi absolutely love this design and color and want to replicate in my master bathroom. We are currently picking out the tiles so would be extremely grateful if you could tell me what type of tile you used on the walls as the mosaic - is that travertine, limestone etc? Also what colors did you use of the tile? Finally what color porcelain did you use on the floor? Thanks so much! »
BPF: How long should someone estimate a complete 200-square-foot bathroom renovation to take?
MH: It all depends on the builder and the complexity of the design. I've seen smaller bathrooms take as long as six months to finish because the mosaic tile had to be special ordered from Italy.
Glass vessel sinks are beautiful and definitely attract attention, but they're also delicate. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads which can scratch the glass surface. The best way to prevent water spots on a glass sink: wipe the sink dry after every use. (Of course, that's too much work for most of us.) Clean off water spots using a mild glass cleaner.
