This home is a full integration of a wide range of green concepts including zoned geothermal HVAC and a whole house fan system.

The design theme was inspired by 19th century farmhouse vernacular.

Other green features include an exhaustive use of low V.O.C. materials, finishes and adhesives, operable transoms in the bedooms, reclaimed wood flooring, foam insulation and cement fiberboard siding.

Kipnis Architecture + Planning I am not sure of the manufacturer and model of these pendants. The client purchased them directly. You can look at a website like http://www.rejuvenation.com. They have a very wide selection of period lighting. I hope that helps.

Kipnis Architecture + Planning They are real wood and were carpenter built in the field. They are 1x wood, with the center blocked with 2x's as needed.

Kipnis Architecture + Planning I believe that was a custom stain. I don't have the exact color, but it is more brown than red... a little chocolate color as well. I hope that helps.

This is nice too but I would break up those upper cabinets with a wall of cupboards - for a pantry of course
