Sara Ingrassia Interiors They were made by Two's Company. I'm not sure if they still make them, and they only sell to designers and stores. You might google the company, canisters, green etc., and find them in a store or ebay online. They are fun and good sizes.
Harmony Design Consultants I suggest repainting the ceiling and beams and shutters. Your white cabinetry is classic. I would remove the table light from the counter top and change the ceiling light fixtures. This is an area where you can further impact the overall style of your kitchen and there are wonderful colors and shapes of lighting available. Barbara
Sara Ingrassia Interiors Walker Zanger, can't remember the line, but it was Italian handmade and rated for kitchen counters. I wouldn't use it again on a kitchen counter, since it is irregular it is hard to clean and needs a large grout line. I'd use it for the back splash and use a simple Cesar stone for the counter, you could mix with a limestone, black, or misty carera color.
Sara Ingrassia Interiors They are Walker Zanger Italian handmade, I think the color is Oro.
I think the field tile are 4x4 and the subway are 3x6. It's been a while and I can't remember exactly. I think Walker Zanger might still cary the line, at the time it was the only one rated for kitchen counters.
Rebekah Zaveloff Because it's on an angle, the front door might be 24" but the actual cabinet is 36" from interior corner to outside edge on both sides.
Putting dead space to work. A corner sink can occupy an odd niche that otherwise would have languished. If you have the square footage, you might consider adding a second sink elsewhere in the kitchen to boost the functionality of the work zone. Or put a bar sink in the corner for entertaining and site your main sink along a countertop or in an island.
The basics: Typically either ceramic or stone, tile is adhered in thinset mortar on a tile backer board and grouted into place.Stone tiles are made of the same material found in slabs, like marble and granite, but at a fraction of the cost. Common sizes used for kitchen counters include 12- by 12-inch squares and mini slabs that are 18 inches wide by counter depth. Grout lines are often minimized to mask the material's smaller size.Any ceramic tile that you might choose for your backsplash can be used for your countertop. Glazed tile is best for a nonporous surface.Cost: $10 to $50 per square foot installed for ceramic tile; $30 to $70 per square foot installed for stone tile.
