The powder room wall was covered in washed river rock, that was set in a layer of grout. The mirror extended out from the wall to have back-lighting installed to wash the river rock.

Northlight Architects LLC Yes, just a table. The plumber worked with the finish carpenter to coordinate the opening for piping, plumber caulked it.

Annie Thornton If you are asking about the material of the accent wall, the architect wrote this nice detail description:

I really like how this bathroom hints at nature. The bowl has that clayware feel to it. The wall looks like rocks. The colors are drawn from the earth. I think that the storage features beneath the sink could've been more earthy (wicker instead of metal, perhaps) but I do like the function of that space.

Pebble tile always presents a challenge because it needs to have so much grout used with it. The wall in this bath uses a chocolate-y grout that's nearly the color of the pebble tile itself. The result is a wall that's almost pure texture and the affect is fantastic. What do you think? Do you have a grout color triumph or dilemma you'd like to share?

Using the dark grout showcases the River Rock and not the grout itself. The backlighting on the mirror also accents the River Rock and give a nice 3D effect to the mirror. Love it!

like lighting effect over textured tiles don't like tiles but mounting mirror proud of wall allows for lighting to be fitted behind mirror to allow light to wash over texture.
