Walden Design Group - Cynthia Walden The counters are granite. The slab yard didn't call it Venetian Gold; however it is very similar. These particular slabs have distinctive eggplant spots to harmonize with the eggplant range.

Walden Design Group - Cynthia Walden Two reasons. First, to be consistent with the cabinet drawers. For the shallower drawers, the only place to mount the hardware is on the rail. Second, to provide a more ergonomic placement. There are two freezer drawers. Mounting the pull on the center of the panels, puts the lower drawer pull close to the floor.
