hominy I found ceramic round penny tiles that are copper in color at Dal Tile, Dallas TX. They are not shiney bright copper, but, a darker shiney color. Can't wait for them to be installed. Not cheap, but, the ceramic version allows for use in a shower floor application.

parisgirl1970 Copper, as in real copper pennies, can be cleaned well the first time and once installed and rinsed well after each using should be enough to keep them shiny provided soap scum is not allowed to settle.. There are copper cleaners on the market as well. If you have a real copper penny, take it and rub it hard on an old solid piece of tough carpet to get the dirt and wear off of it. Shines nice huh?
