The design collaboration of the entire team, Client, Architect, Landscape Architect, Interior, Structural, and Builder from start to finish on this project, paid off for this Carmel Homestead. Materials, colors and textures flow between the interior and exterior, creating a seamless transition from inside to outdoor living.

What landscaping material is used beyond the stone pathway where the chairs are? - Is it messy around the pool re:upkeep and sweeping? »
Arterra LLP Landscape Architects We used an old sugar kettle for the firepit and the rocks are lava stones. If you are building a firepit, be sure to use stones that are approved for firepits.
This space feels natural. The pool is manmade, but transitions well to the firepit area, which feels like it could be part of a campground. Pretty but not overdone.
