Cynthia Prizant - Prizant Design, LLC There is approximately 5-6 inches from the top edge of the cove, but about 10-12" from the inside bottom. You need to leave enough space so that the electrician can fit his/her hand to install the lighting.

Cynthia Prizant - Prizant Design, LLC This was purchased through a to-the-trade showroom. Unfortunately, I no longer have the information about it. They are treated copper panels that were mounted on dark wood.
