Cynthia Prizant - Prizant Design, LLC This board was custom made. You can purchase the cork at the hardware store (on a roll similar to a bolt of fabric). Rubber glue it on to a smooth backer board, Paint the bottom half of the board with chalkboard paint. Purchase and paint moulding for trim and attach with wood glue and finishing nails.

In children's rooms, I believe that anything goes (within reason). In this room, the red baseboard and faux crown molding bring an excitement to the space that any boy or girl could love. Using complementary colors like red and green allows both colors to look even more remarkable.
