lucygoosy that sounds like a great idea! do you have any pictures of how this looks, where/how to put the second set of hinges..and how the shelf looks. Having trouble visualizing.

donal the half door opens the opposite way to the full door.
the hinges are on the other side of the frame

These half doors were used to keep the animals out of the cottages... I guess these days they are used more often to keep kids in.
