6. Plan for the Long TermIf you are lucky enough to have a walk-in pantry, you'll know after this clean-out if it's meeting all of your needs. If not, ask yourself how it could be better and what you'll need to accomplish this. Perhaps you'd like a prep area shelf, room for cookbooks or a chalkboard for making grocery lists.
I like the idea of at least one set of plastic tubs instead of wood drawers in the pantry. This way you can go in and "fill a tub" for use in the kitchen. Same with bringing things back into the pantry for storage - just fill a tub and make one trip instead of several.
