Benjamin Moore's Paper White is a similar color.

With a lot of difficulty I would imagine... but I love the design. It's brilliant!

:) actually the ledge on the bottom bunk is wide enough to comfortably stand on to pull the duvet covers up to look nice. when i change the sheets i just climb the stairs and sit on the mattress to pull it off. when i put it back on i do the same thing. we made the beds with a decent space around the mattresses so they're not wedged in there and can lift with ease. i don't use a flat sheet either. :)

Ok, that makes some sense. Thanks for the explanation. I'm in my 60s and not too likely to be able to do the climbing, but was looking for bunks as an idea for (eventual) grandkids. It does look classy, and great for younger homemakers...:-)

Was this design difficult/costly to pursue? I love creative kid bedrooms :)

it actually looks very much like our racks that we had in the Navy on my ship. I love it and would like it in my rec room area for kids having sleepovers. Ironically, it's very comforting and cozy to me. :) They were a breeze to make too.

I like the stairs vs a ladder to the upper bunks. Much easier to climb.

I am going to guess that this was custom made.

I would look for a local contractor or carpenter. Perhaps try Angie's List? The best way to find one is through word of mouth - have any of your friends had any great work done on their homes lately? I'd throw a request for recommendations from local friends up on Facebook as well.

Look at Sherwin's Lazy Gray/6254 for the beds and Northstar/6246 for the walls. I'm just guessing here, but I like the combo and it would give you this look. Put a gloss on the beds, an eggshell finish on the walls. LOVE the pop of color coming from the mirror. What a fab room!
