Carved corbels are the defining architectural element for this fireplace mantel from Dura Supreme Cabinetry. With its crisp, white paint and simple design, this mantel fits right in with its cottage surroundings. Dura Supreme’s fireplace mantels can be selected with a variety of woods and finishes to create the look that’s just right for your home.
I could only use the shelve and brackets, is that possible and a different finish? - I have a build-in bookcase on either side of the fireplace and a 4x4 stone/tile surround, recessed into the wall and leaves about 4" of drywall with rounded corners in between the f.p. and bookcases. Help:)
I like the style of this picture. »
Love the tile on the fireplace surround - Where can I find something like that? We are refacing our 1950's fireplace and want smaller tile around the fireplace and larger ones on the raised hearth. Would love to know where I can find something like you used in both places. Thank you! »
Our fireplace is brick and tall like this. Adding a would surround would certainly update the rustic look which I hate. We do not have a low hearth, but a seating high hearth. Could this still work without demoing the current hearth?
