diyher hmm, I found this because I searched Behr Straw Basket. I painted 3 of my adjoining rooms this color, but your cabinets look lighter than what I have of the same color name.
Matthew MacCaul Turner This looks like a custom piece, although fairly simple to make. Sheet metal can be found in a number of gages, and cut into any desired width. Often it will be glued, and mechanically fastened into place, with nail heads or rivets adding a decorative elemant to the design.
Brookside Custom Homes, LLC. The hood was custom made for us by RangeCraft. The straps were plated in polished nickel and they are actually the framework so they are not simply attached. The hood is 48 inches wide.
Hope this helped!

What is the room width of the back wall we see, from the entry door wall over to the wall where the counter tops meet at the corner. And the length of the counter from the wall to the end of the counter top with the three drawers which includes the stove? Also what are the length and width of the island and how much is the over hang for the chairs to slide under? »
Brookside Custom Homes, LLC. The wall that the door is located on is roughly 16 feet long. The Stove wall is around the same length. The island is around 5x8 and the overhang is 14 inches.
Rebekah Zaveloff I know, isn't it fabulous! I'm not sure who made this one and I've love to know for sure, perhaps the designer will let us know. That said, Ventahood, Rangecraft and Texas Lightsmith all make custom hoods similar to this.
Brookside Custom Homes, LLC. The hood was custom made to our specifications by Rangecraft. The bands are polished nickel and the metal panels were painted to match the cabinets.

Brookside Custom Homes, LLC. The stools were made by Room and Board. They are not very comfortable, but do look good. I think they are no longer being made.

No. 1: Sloped and Tapered A more vintage look with the cream field and silver straps, this sloped hood is also tapered on the sides. The height of the hood really makes a difference, depending on the kitchen ceiling height. Here the designer opted to go for a more dramatic look with the hood rather than putting wall cabinets over top of it. The cream painted metal is a great alternative to a wood hood surround if you're looking for something that ties in with the cabinets without matching them exactly.
