How does it fare in snow? - We have a rather steep driveway and are considering moving to gravel as it looks elegant. Live in NJ. How does gravel do in the snow and how about snow removal? Thank so much!

Depending on how much snow you get, you should be able to leave it unshoveled. The gravel should provide enough traction for your car to get in and out without a problem. If there is enough snow getting compacted, throw some salt on it or try your best to remove as much snow as you can off the top. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! In central jersey (we are about 20 miles from NYC) we typically get 2-5 inches. If there is a storm, which happens 2-3 times most seasons, we get 6-12 inches.

From what you have written, I am assuming that for 2-5 inches you just leave it alone.

What about 6- 12 inches or more?

Also can one use a snow blower or plow it? Thank you again.
