lynn2081 At this point, 6 months later how is the floor holding up? My husband and I are having a new home built and are considering putting this down throughout the downstairs. We have a dog and twin infants, and are curious as to the products durability? We know it is the look we want just worried about it holding up to our lifestyle. Now, I understand hardwood is going to get its wear and tear. But in 6 months have you noticed it being softer, or easier to scratch or dent than you anticipated? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Emily Hurley Hi there, Try clicking through the "More Info" link to a link to the supplier. Your best bet is to inquire with them about a sample. Hope that helps!
I am looking to buy a product slightly more gray than this color. Do you have any suggestions of what colour I can use in my main kitchen/dining room with it? I like to stay in the neutral color range such as browns/beiges/or grays thank you! »
Emily Hurley Hard to say without the actual floor to look at, but I'd go with a warmer beige tone for the walls, particularly in the kitchen. I think this one comes down to personal preference though.

The fantastic aged gray on this oak flooring is really lovely. Going for that calm, timeless french country look? This would be a good choice for flooring.
Anne DeCocco I don't understand why people often think that certain wood floors look country. Wood floors are a beautiful foundation for any and all styles. To me, it's the gold standard. These gray floors would look fabulous with your contemporary cabinets. It's in mixing old and new (looking) finishes that we get depth in the overall look of a room. If everything is one age, one style, one finish, the room looks flat.
matching stairwell - Hi, If use this stain, what should I do on the stairs? will this look nice with the white contrast on newels? or should I go darker on hand rail? Your opinion is greatly valued. »
Putting unfinished white pine flooring down - Putting white pine unfinished floor down. How can I achieve this look. Researching stains and attempting on scrap pieces, but get nothing like this. »
Love this stain - I have laid a new walnut engineered floor in my basement. I had a custom cabinet built out of maple that I would like to stain. The media chairs are covered in a leather that is remarkably similar to the blue stain on this flooring. Is it possible to get this stain to apply to a buffet style cabinet? »
