LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hi Olive,
The shower is approximately 6'x4'. It is not a steam shower, however. You'll notice the glass doesn't go to the ceiling.
Thank you,
Lorraine
LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hello,
Thank you for your interest in is project. A window in the shower is always worrisome due to the moisture. IFirst of all, made sure we trimed the window jam out in tile. The builder did the rest using treated wood in the framing and caulked and sealed very carefully. So far, so good!

LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hello,
This was designed in the construction phase of the house. As the designer, I worked with the allowances that were set in the contract between the builder and client for plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, cabinetry and mirrors and shower enclosure. It's difficult to break it out the cost of the shower. I can tell you the tile is marble and honey onyx. The plumbing fixtures are polished nickel, and the glass enclusure is frameless. These are all high end appointments.
Thank you for the question,
Lorraine
That is not a problem. The only things your tile setter has to do is a proper surface preparation and using the right setting material combined with the proper setting technique.
The travertine slabs in this picture were 12" x 36" big. The only challenge was the weight.
Ceiling of shower - Does the tile on the ceiling of the shoer meet the sheetrock ceiling or is there some sort of a divider there? I have seen some sort of framing to makr that transition but I like that look »
LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hello-thank you for your question~
It is the same marble tile as on the walls, but it has been bullnosed for a finished edge.

LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hi and thank you for your question-those are carrara marble and they are 12" squares. The installer cut them in halves and bullnosed them on site for the trim pieces and curb.
