Woven pieces work across all style types. It's all in the mix. In a contemporary setting like the one shown, the woven stools balance out the sharp angles of the counter and the colorful woven chairs add whimsy to the clean and bright eating space without being childish. They add a happiness to the room that isn’t trite. It would have been easy to use predictable furnishings in this space — i.e., traditional bar stools and dining chairs — but by choosing woven pieces, the inhabitants infused their home with a warmth and interest that other pieces could not convey.
