Is it wise to take out a tub & replace w. walk in shower if it is the only tub in the house? - We are in our 60s & plan on living in our home for 10-15 yrs. We don't ever use a tub, but are wondering about resale. »
Cynthia Taylor-Luce I didn't realize you have three bathrooms! Maybe you should consider having a tub in one of the other bathrooms, just so you have one? yes, I'm sure doing three bathrooms is a lot on your mind. Keep them simple is my best advice. Good luck, and you're welcome! :)
monika2024 When we were shopping for our first house, I didn't care for houses that were remodeled, because 1. Who knows if the remodeled it properly/shoddy work 2. we were going to gut everything so we can incorporate our style. So if the house had no tub, I didn't care because we knew that we could eventually add one. Please go with what YOU want.
Linda Yowell Architects What you see from the inside is a polished nickel on brass window that is built like a hinged shower door. There is also a painted wood double hung window at the exterior.
atisch what is the average price for that window shower door casement? I love it! Would you recommend asking my glass companies if they could do this? Thanks in advance!!

Kristen Taylor_Ritter Thanks. Does the shower floor continue through the bathroom floor (marble mosaic) or do you use Calcutta gold 12x12 for the floors?
Niki Papadopoulos It looks like it could be from either Walker Zanger (either the Gramercy or SoHo collection) or Ann Sacks Elements Collection. Both offer a wide range of field tiles and molding options as well as great color selections (Ann Sacks has a considerable amount of color choices.)
