Ventana Construction LLC I believe they are casements to meet egress. You can see the sill is less than 44" from the floor. This is a less important elevation for the home, because it is 5' from a property line and fence, and is not visible unless you walk down the side of the house. In the past, when we have needed a casement for egress and not wanted to draw attention to the window, we've added a permanently adhered simulated divided light (one that is raised and on inside and outside of the window) to the center to mimic the look of the adjacent double hungs.
I love these sliding doors. Are they custom built or available somewhere for retail? If yes, could you possibly tell me where I might find them?
Thanks so much »

Ventana Construction LLC These are standard Craftsman-style doors available from Frank Lumber (the door store) in Seattle. They carry Simpson, Kylemont and similar brands that should have this style available. I really like how well these turned out installed as bypass doors. Pretty nice for a basement bedroom!
