Hi again Kathy, These cabinets are Maple with a honey stain. I love to use Maple, because it has a very fine grain pattern but still accepts stain wonderfully. The stain brings out the delicate pattern in the wood.

Hi Kathy, This is a pretty compact kitchen with about 5' between runs of cabinetry. For me this is a good starting place for small kitchens. It permits a large sink in a 36" cabinet and then 2 flanking Lazy-Susan's' one in each corner to maximize storage space. One Lazy-Susan can be used for trash and recycling and the other for pots and pans. This Peninsula projects about 6 or 7 feet from the face of the sink base with about 8 to 9 feet of counter-top.

I hope this helps
