Entrance Foyer

For this Fabulous Foyer for a Designer Showhouse, we chose to go bold using black and White. We created a conversation area at the end of the foyer where one can greet friends and use this space as an entertaining area. The pair of chairs are made of recycled plywood, the chandeliers are made of recycled styrofoam, and the console under the majestic painting of a lady in white is made of concrete. We transformed the flat ceiling by creating the intricate design using a variety of moldings and medalions. At the Entrance way to the foyer, we placed a bombe chest which we had lacquered in black and placed a oversized chair covered in faux white fur. To provide a special treat as you enter, the front door was painted in black and white. The drapery is white with chrome nailheads at the head. We used a combination of paintings from original artists and also images that were transfered onto lucite panels - the horses. For additonal photos of our work, please view our website

Thank you for your interest in our room. The dog is actually a bronze which we purchased at an antique show in Paris. Happy hunting !!
