Cravotta Studios -Interior Design We had a lot of quality problems with this manufacturer and ended up replacing all the lights in the house. I have had good luck with Delta lighting (best quality and very expensive) and Solavanti Lighting (very nice for a reasonable price).

Cravotta Studios -Interior Design It seems our firm's policy around sharing paint colors has raised some strong emotions. I enjoy contributing to the Houzz community and do so in many ways including sharing sources and design thought as a result of questions posed. Through the images we post, viewers have an opportunity to see one designer's perspective on treating a wide variety of living environments and my hope is that provides value. I know I get a lot out of seeing the work of other talented designers on the site.

The fact is there are still some aspects that are proprietary to my clients who have paid a lot of money for a unique design experience with the expectation of some measure of privacy and exclusivity. It is out of this commitment to our clients that I measure what I share. It hope understanding that context is helpful.

adrock77 I'm glad my simple request has lead to a healthy debate. All points are very valid. I understand Cravotta's concern about keeping things like paint color secretive because a client has paid for that. On the other hand, however, is that fact that Cravotta is now promoting its client's paid work to showcase their own work — in turn getting the studio more business. So it could be argued that the real reason for not sharing isn't because of your clients' concerns, it's to actually protect their own business. And unlike the paint colors used in this photo, it's very transparent.
