What technique did you use to apply this paint? - I don't often comment on color, but this is gorgeous. I don't imagine that's just a straight application of Benjamin Moore, so I'm wondering if might divulge your application technique for this particular wall? So many people expect magical results from a simple roller stroke with a single color, and it just doesn't happen. Did you use a float? Something other than brushes? Perhaps a glaze? Was there texture to the wall before you applied the paint? Fantastic work, even if you're not willing to give up your secrets. »
Bathroom color suggestion next to Galapagos Turquoise? - Hi! My husband is out getting me a sample of this color right now for a den we have! Its beautiful! There's an attached bathroom with a pocket door that's usually left open. Any suggestions for a good coordinating paint color for the bathroom? A huge Klimts the kiss will be on the wall, close to the bathroom. It has lots of yellow, gold, browns, reds, green, blue, etc. My color scheme in the rest of the house is gray btw. I appreciate your help!! »
Would you like a replication of the hanging light, use Jonathan Adler's! - LOVED that light and found it duplicated in varias finishes manufactured
by Jonathan Adler....(I'm just sayin') »
Occasional bursts of color — such as on this brilliant blue wall in the entryway — add current elements without introducing too many new pieces, keeping the layout clean and modern.Wall color: Benjamin Moore, #2057-20 Galapagos Turquoise; rug: Ikat wool rug, Stark Carpet
