debora carl landscape design I assume you are referring to the rusted metal gate. it was fabricated by Linda Joanou- www.joanou.com , a very talented metal artist, for the client to hide trash cans. It is woven strips of steel, allowed to rust to create this beautiful patina.
1. Use a traditional door setup. A niche that's used expressly for those plastic behemoths gets extra polish from a lattice door with an honest-to-goodness knob. Choose a lattice with a tight enough weave that it doesn't defeat the purpose.
6. Keep up the appearance of routines. If you will be away for more than a week, see if one of your neighbors can bring your garbage and recycling bins out for you and back in the next day. Also, don't let mail pile up on the porch; have the postal service hold your mail for up to 30 days instead. You can fill out the form online here, so you don't even need to step foot in the post office during this busy time. Likewise for newspapers — contact your newspaper carrier to suspend service while you are away.
i like this to hide the trash! maybe something like this with center blocks and plants planted inside them too that face the back alley where the trash cans are. i like the gate too
