jamiebeckwith THe bathtub is finished with over 30 coats of marine epoxy; very similiar to a boat or yacht. The finish will last indefinitely, but if in 8 to 10 years from heavy use, it may need a light resanding and finish. not difficult for any experienced wood worker. thanks!
jamiebeckwith THe tub holds up beautifully. i have had one for 5 years and have not needed to resand. The tub is finished with over 30 coats of marine epoxy. similiar to a boat. you clean the bathtub with soap and water, non abrasive. We recommend no harsh bath salts, but lotions and bubble bath products are fine.
Is Jamie Beckwith a Person or a Label? - Love the wood tub.......previously considered brass tub.......
may change my mind on this NC Cottage project. »
