• About this painting

An expressively colorful and serene scene of two sailboats lazily gliding along as seen from the vantage point of a beach location. This painting has some impressionist qualities and some modern expressionist influences in the treatment of the paint. A painting to go in your favorite spot, to soothe the senses.

About the artist:

An artist by design, I do what I know how to do and have always done. And that is to paint. Its what I do. Birds fly, fish swim, and I paint. I paint with a passion, and carefree abandon. I use my art to paint my feelings about what I experience and feel, rather than just what I see. For me, its a form of visual communication, and I speak it using my brush and paints. My art is my vehicle for that. I hope you enjoy it, and make one of my paintings yours!

• I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts in Painting

My work is collected by people worldwide and in the U.S.

My paintings have been purchased by NBC Universal studios and have appeared in episodes of Parenthood as part of the set designs.

I have shown extensively both in solo exhibitions and group showings in the northeast, and southwest

I have also been known to appear and exhibit at art fairs, coffee shops and even on location near a lake, harbor, seacoast. meadow, or city street, with my easel and paints.
