This piece is a depiction of the English Navy ships. They were massive and all wood. The men of those ships were among the strongest in the world at the time.
About the artist:
I started drawing at a young age. My father shared with me the gift of drawing and photography. In the army my father took photos and made sketches for extra money. He never pursued it as a career because, as he told me there's no future in it. But I continued to work on my skills with natural talent leading the way.
In high school my art teacher saw my potential and entered me into the advanced placement classes. . Then after high school I went to tech college to study printing and pre press. After graduating tech school, receiving my associates in print I went to NY to chase my dream. I stayed in NY for a few years. After finding out the many galleries I was involved with we're cheating me out of a large percentage of my profit, I left. I pulled all my art out of all the galleries and came back to GA. I continued my education and went to the art institute of Atlanta. In 2007 I graduated with my BFA in graphic design. Since then I have been working in the print industry. This year I've decided to try again at the art market through the internet.
