This was created after a boat trip in Crystal River, Florida. I saw so many birds and animals that I imagined this scene along the river banks. The original watercolor is framed in tan matting with an inner accent of aqua. It is framed in a rustic walnut tone frame with glass.
I am a published Artist and Illustrator with over thirty years of sales experience to corporate and private individuals. I also create custom Animal Portraits on a commission basis.
I use all acid free and archival materials in the creation of my paintings and drawings.

About the artist:

• I am an artist living on the coast of Florida in the beautiful town of Vero Beach. I moved here in 2014 to be near the ocean and become a part of the arts community this town is known for. It is a place full of endless inspiration for my artwork, whether kayaking in the Indian River or just taking a walk on the beach.
• I grew up surrounded by pets and especially loved riding horses and being outside with nature. I went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at Kutztown University in rural Pennsylvania. It was there I continued my love for nature and animals by specializing in wildlife art and animal portraiture.
• My commissioned subjects have ranged from backyard pets such as goats and donkeys, to champion show horses and dogs. I enjoy creating detailed paintings and drawings that capture the inner spirit and personality of the animal.
