iztok I'm thinking the same thing. Also, how wide is each window and all windows? We are thinking of putting in a wide bay or bow window similar to this, but ours might need to be wider.
blindsdirectcanada I have done beautiful windows like this before what i recommend so its not to obtrusive is a cellular blind which can fit tightly in the frame or just above. With this product there is Top down Bottom up which gives you better light / privacy which you have complete control over.

swoondesign Hi - We bought the sconces and shades at Omega Lighting Design in Berkeley, CA. Website is www.omegalightingdesign.com. It was several years ago, but I believe they are the "Gilbert" sconces.
"I think the silliest thing in the world is a room with gorgeous windows but no way to sit next to them and look outside. That's why our house has so many window seats," Enid says. This built-in nook features a partially enclosed low seat next to a window with a low sill.Couch: Crate & Barrel; ottoman: Pottery Barn
Welcoming pets into the family. As an animal person myself, I completely understand the need to have furry members of the family. Working out pet policies with landlords is not always a pleasant affair, moving is stressful for all involved, and for those with larger animals, finding a place can be a real challenge — making a forever home quite appealing for some pet owners.
Built-in bookshelves surrounding a window seat. Great idea. Lesser used books can go up top. And an odd piece of real sculpture (not something just thrown up there - something meaningful and appropriate to scale.)

This feels welcoming. I like the open windows-they invite you to grab a book curl up and look out the window.
