Dwell Design Studio Yes, they are composite concrete columns, 12" top diameter, cut to size. This type of column is load bearing so it is a great choice for this type of application.

Dwell Design Studio Those windows were custom designed for this house and were based on traditional craftsman window designs. They were custom built by Portrait Windows, through Stock Building Supply.

Dwell Design Studio Those columns are 14" at the base. I find that this dimension works well most of the time. Any thing smaller begins to look too slender.

Dwell Design Studio Thank you. We loved designing it. Those windows are Portrait Windows that were supplied by Stock Building Supply. I'm not sure they are making those anymore but they are nice quality wood and composite windows. They were custom made to our design for this house. Good luck!

Dwell Design Studio Sorry but I don't remember. It was really a blend of stone, mixing grays with browns. But it was locally sourced stone.
