We expanded a formerly dark, small, outdated kitchen and made it open, bright and airy. The glass doors and open plate rack of the kitchen cabinets add depth, color and geometry to the room. The door knobs and cabinet hardware are round simple forms, a detail that echoes the round table and art form shapes on the walls.

Sheila Rich Interiors, LLC Thank you so much for your kind words. The cabinets are wood. I do not recall the brand of this refrigerator, this project was completed in 2007. I just specified a Kitchen Aid refrigerator just like this one that is counter depth and seems to be nicely priced. I would suggest that you consider classic and simple furnishings for your update. I think this project is still as fresh and timeless as the day it was completed even though it's 5 years old. I'm very proud of the transformation and my client is enjoying her beach retreat very much.

Sheila Rich Interiors, LLC Thank you. The paint is Benjamin Moore, decorator white- 01, matte on the walls, semi gloss on the trim. The granite is toated almond. Good luck with your project.

Sheila Rich Interiors, LLC I love using different colors for kitchen dinnerware. It always makes a great looking table. These plates belong to my client. Try looking in Bloomingdale's . Fiestaware is another company that has so many bright colors and it's a really good product.
