mikelivingroom I am redoing our living room and right now working on upgrading my fireplace, the floor and everything around it. My questions focus on the fireplace area. Were you involved with the fireplace? Did you select the tile or involved with the design of the wooden framework around the fireplace. One last question was the floor already there before you redecorated the room?

The tile is sourced through a local showroom, and unfortunately we do not have record of this specific tile. However, if you bring this photo to a tile shop near you they may be able to help you find something similar!

The depth of the gas fireplace is approximately 2', and its width is approximately 6'. The cabinet next to the fireplace is about 2' deep as well!

Consider for fireplaces - especially in basement with gas fireplace - take out hearth area so fir lace is flush with wall. Also consider wood or wall around fireplace to reduce brick.
