Angela Todd Designs Hi Kelly, We didn't specify this color. It was prior to when we started our project. I think any grayed brown would work terrifically as long as it coordinates/compliments the other colors in your space.

It is common practice that most houses have flat white ceilings. For me the ceilings in all the places I've lived in for the past 30 years have never been white. I always paint the ceiling the same color as the walls of the room. I also love industrial materials and components like the trusses in this space along with the spiral duct.. An added feature of having the structure and utilities exposed allows for easy evolution of the living space. It is so easy and cost effective to add enhancements. Need a light, need a fan, need sound system components, ventilation, etc. a total breeze! You can even hang swagged fabrics to soften the environment and acoustically dampen and tune the space for the your living needs.
