LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Hi Loretta,
So sorry it's taken me this long to answer this question. The table is 40"w x 8' long. The chairs are fairly wide, so 2 per side. The space between the pergola posts is 10' x 14'.
Thanks so much for your interest in this space.

cathycole I've been looking all over for a pergola that isn't white!! I have a light gray house and this dark color would look great in contrast. Is it stained wood or an artificial product (which would be even better - I want to enjoy sitting under the pergola, not maintaining it!! Beautiful job!!!
LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID Cathy,
This was built by a local contractor. It is treated wood and painted a green nearly black. Charleston Green is the name of the color and it is in the Historical Colors of Charleston palette offered by Duron: www.duron.com/builders/color/color_palettes.asp?id=4
It does need to be repainted every 4-5 years depending on your weather. Believe me, it's worth it!
Thank you for your interest in this project.

LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID It is, surprisingly-Concrete! We sanded and sanded to expose the natural inclusions, then scored it on the diagonal. The process was really a very happy accident. It looks like terrazzo: http://www.exbali.com/bali_building_materials/terrazzo_floor_tiles_a.htm
