Thank you for your question and interest in this room. Above the fireplace is an oil painting done by a local Charleston artist, Laura Lloyd Fontaine. In addition to originals, she offers her work in giclee, which is a print of the original. Her's are unique in that she will paint ver the print with a brush to give life and texture. LORRAINE G VALE, Allied ASID They are made of wood-curvy finials-and metal. The color is black. I have 14" tall battery operated candles. I purchased those from Restoration hardware. I had wax candles, but they were dangerous so close to the wall. I'll look at the email in the AM.
