Mahogany Library- Home Office-Peter Rymwid Photography

Custom built-in bookcases were designed to surround the fireplace in this library, home office. The bottom of the cabinetry houses units to an updated sound system. The desk is hand painted and is placed between the fireplace and the french doors which overlook the backyard. An antique Sarapi Heriz carpet is made from camel hair. The sofa and tables were purchased through Interiors By Design, NJ.

Marlene Wangenheim AKBD, CAPS, Allied Member ASID The houndstooth wallpaper is old Ralph Lauren. I am not sure that it still is being produced but try looking through the Ralph Lauren showroom or a designer.

Marlene Wangenheim AKBD, CAPS, Allied Member ASID the desk was custom made and veneered in a burl veneer by a company that deals with only interior designers. It is not sold in a store unless its an interior design store that has an account with this company. I am sorry but it is unusual and very custom.

Ed Walovitch What stain color are these cabinets? Looks very rich. I am working on my family room project and not sure what stain color will be long lived and liked. Is it cherry stain or something much lighter. What is your professional opinion. Thanks in advance for your idea.
